Applications must be made in person at the UWSCollege IELTS Test Administration Centre. Your fingerprint will be paired with your photograph at the time of application. Address

$330 (GST exempt) or $363 (with GST)

All IELTS testing takes place at the UWSCollege Westmead campus. The campus is located two minutes walk from Westmead railway station. Parking is available in Parking Areas 1 and 2 for $12 per day. The ticket machines accept coins.

What do I need to bring? • Two passport photographs less than six months old. Please see IELTS Photograph Guidelines: www.uwscollege.edu.au/ ielts/apply • Your original passport, valid for six weeks after the test • Australian citizens with no passport must bring all of the following: »» original birth certificate »» photo ID »» two (2) forms of proof of address (original) »» two (2) passport-sized photos. • Completed IELTS and GST application forms. These can be downloaded from www.uwscollege.edu.au/ielts/apply.

Results and appeals Results Pick up Results may be collected on the 13th day after your test, from 8.30 am – 12.00 pm at the UWSCollege IELTS Test Centre. Bring your passport for identification. If you send another person to collect your results, you must give them a permission letter authorising them to act on your behalf, and they must show your ID and their ID. Postal Results not collected during opening hours on the 13th day after the test will be posted on the next business day. Online View results online at www.uwscollege.edu.au/ielts/results. We cannot give results over the phone, by email or fax. Extra copies You can only receive one (1) copy of your Test Result Form. We can print and send extra copies to government bodies, educational institutions, registration bodies or employers for a $20 fee.

Appeals process You have the right to appeal your IELTS test results but you must do so in person within six weeks of your test date by: • completing the IELTS Enquiry on Results Form • attaching your original Test Result Form • submitting payment of $176 for one or more modules (this will be refunded if your appeal is upheld). Appeals should be finalised within six to eight weeks from date of submission and will be posted back to you.

Some Thursday test dates are also available, ask at our centre if you are interested.

If you would like to cancel your IELTS test or request to transfer your test date, you must contact us five weeks prior to your test date. An administrative fee of $82.50 applies to all refunds and transfers. No refunds or transfers will be awarded without five weeks prior notice.

What if I am unable to attend my test? Test-day illness (transfer to next test) If you are unable to attend your test date due to serious illness, not a minor illness such as a cold or headache, you may transfer to another date. Your doctor must complete a medical certificate and the Request for Refund or Test Date Transfer Form, which must include the medical practice’s stamp. You must bring this completed form, medical certificate and original receipt of payment to the centre within five (5) days of the test and pay the $82.50 transfer fee. Other serious causes (refund or transfer) Refunds are not normally given for failure to attend a test. Refunds will only be considered in the following cases: • hospitalisation (serious illness or injury) • bereavement (loss of a close family member) • trauma (victim of crime) • military service. To be eligible, you must provide the following items no later than five (5) days after the test date: • request for Refund or Test Date Transfer Form
