Dear Colleagues, The Indian Poultry Science Association (IPSA) and Central Avian Research Institute (CARI), Izatnagar have great pleasure in inviting you to the XXX Conference of Indian Poultry Science Association and National Symposium (IPSACON -2013) on the theme, “Poultry Production: Feed, Food and Environmental Safety” being organized at Central Avian Research Institute (CARI), Izatnagar on November 22-23, 2013. The conference is envisaged to be a conglomerate of galaxy of scientists, academicians and eminent personalities representing both public and private sectors, having vast knowledge and experience in Poultry Science R&D, Education and Extension, to share a common platform for exchanging the thoughts and ideas aimed at resolving the glaring issues facing Poultry Sector with a view to safe feed and food production vis a vis environment safety. The conference program has been designed to encompass various aspects of poultry production adhering to the theme in different scientific sessions as well as a scientistIndustry-Farmer Interface. The Indian Poultry Science Association also encourages the young scientists and students for presenting their original works followed by awarding the excellence in a Award Session. The deliberations and discussions during the conference are expected to come out with the innovative programmes / strategies on researchable issues in the designated fields related to theme and their applications. A poultry exhibition has also been planed to display exhibit recent innovations in the field of poultry germplasm, appliances/equipments, feeds/feed additives, drugs, biologicals etc. for the benefit of researchers, educationists, farmers and industrialists. Besides its scientific flavor, the conference may also be a cherished experience for participants who can utilize this opportunity to visit the serene and beautiful Kumaon hills at Nainital and Mukteswar. The Organizing Committee once again extends cordial invitation to all for an active participation in the conference and contribute towards the theme to make the event a grand success. How to reach Central Avian Research Institute is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh at Bareilly city (sub-town Izatnagar), approximately 250 km east to New Delhi and 240 Km west to Lucknow. The city is well connected with rail and road routes. The CARI situated at IVRI Campus, Izatnagar, is about 8 Km from Bareilly Railway Junction and 5 Km from bus stand.

Transportation and Accommodation Limited accommodation will be made available in Guest Houses in IVRI and CARI, Izatnagar at prescribed charges.
