Industrial Visit to Bisleri for the students of MBA II SemesterMorning Batch February 11th , 2013 The main objective of industrial visit was to give first hand industrial exposure to students as to how a brand like Bisleri carries out its manufacturing activities. This industrial visit was directed towards understanding about Bisleri’s manufacturing capabilities and infrastructural competencies. A brand that pioneered the concept of mineral water, bottled with its distinct green label, Bisleri, today, is a household name. Powered by 17 owned plants, 33 co-packers, 11 franchisees and a wide distribution and retail network pan India, Bisleri is at the centre of the Aqua Green Revolution. Its headquarters are at Mumbia, India. We visited Bisleri’s Kaushambi Manufacturing plant in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The trip had three phases:1. Company presentation. 2. Plant visit by the students facilitated by company officials. 3. Question answer session wherein the students asked their queries during the plant visit and according to their specialization area as well. The manufacturing plant consisted of 3 units- Filtration of water, manufacturing of bottles and Filling and packaging of the same. It was indeed a learning experience and helped students to get insight of water and beverages industry. MBA II semester (Evening) also went for an industrial visit to Bisleri on 15th February 2013.
