REQUEST FOR MEDIA COVERAGE Pursuant to Canon 3A(9) and the guidelines adopted by the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, Second Circuit, may allow television, still camera and audio coverage of oral arguments if timely requested in compliance with Section IV, of the Appendix of Canon 3 which states as follows: Extended coverage of a proceeding shall not be permitted unless notice of intention to provide extended coverage of a proceeding is given by the media to the clerk of court at least 20 days in advance of the proceeding, provided that only reasonable notice shall be required for coverage of expedited proceedings not regularly calendared. If a request for extended media coverage is received, all counsel will be notified and given time to object. The objection and the reasons therefor should be communicated to the clerk of court within the time provided in Section III of the Appendix to Canon 3.
