Birthdays: James Sandage

Christmas Party: The Club Christmas Party was held at the Brick House downtown Hot Springs with 17 members present. The food and service was excellent. We had lots of door prizes and the dirty Santa was fun. Meals and beverages were compliments of the Diamond Chapter. I went over most events though the year. Mike Parker had some really good trivia questions. Butch Jones won the trivia quiz. Greg Bright had a trivia question for Mike, He guessed and got it right. Fun was had by all.

Winter, I do not like winter. I hope it will be over soon. It is Cold and only January, maybe only a few weeks left till spring. Not much happening so not much to report. Please be thinking about the ABATE Swap meet in February; we will need volunteers to work the booth. See you at Perkin's on Sunday or at the Swap meet in February.

The Laws of Ultimate Reality: 1. After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch and you will have to pee. 2. Law of Gravity: Any tool, when dropped, will roll to the least accessible corner.

Closing comments: The Cherokee Chapter Road Run will be in April in the hill country of Texas (the best riding area in Texas) James Sandage, Butch and Pat Jones, and I will be going. We are all staying at the YO ranch. The YO Ranch Looks like a great place to stay. I am really looking forward to this event. I am sure we will meet some great people from all over the country and have a great time. I know it is a lot of work putting on an AMCA National Road Run. The Cherokee Chapter is doing a great job and I will do all I can to help them. Spring can't get here soon enough. Ride em, do not hide em. Michael Thomson
