Gloucester — The Annisquam Village Players will present “Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” through Sunday, Aug. 9 at the Annisquam Village Hall. More than 50 residents of Cape Ann will recreate the Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors in this musical parable. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock ‘n’ roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless. Cape Ann residents Andrea Liacos and Gabriel Rodriguez hold the major lead roles of the Narrator and Joseph, as well as Tony Verga as Simeon, Paul Hurst as the Pharaoh, Mike English as Potiphar and Kelsey Pinkard as Potiphar’s wife.
