EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT! ROCKY MOUNTAIN PARENTS AS TEACHERS ADDED TO OUR FAMILY OF SERVICES Families First is excited to announce the acquisition of Rocky Mountain Parents as Teachers, a non-profit also serving our community. RMPAT is a home visitation program that serves the 7 metro counties in both English and Spanish. Their mission is to provide the information, support and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life. RMPAT's goals are to increase school readiness and success among children and to prevent child abuse, neglect and family breakdown due to a lack of support in families. RMPAT is a perfect fit with the Families First mission and we are excited to expand our services to the community! Stacy Hladek MA, LPC, was formerly our Family Resource Coordinator and is now coordinating the RMPAT program. We are excited to welcome the RMPAT Home Visitors to our team: Amy Cobb (4 years), Ruth Connors (12 years), Emily Cornwell (new), Dee Everitt (30 years), Ashley Hashimoto (new), Kelly Murray (2 years), Silvia Romero (1 year), Ann Shockley (5 years), Kathy Williams (2 years).
