Foundation

A correct installation is of great importance for the machine accuracy and it's function in general. If the workshop has a firm floor made of concrete the machine can be placed directly on this floor without any need for special reinforcements. In this respect the machine is placed on the machine shoes which are delivered with the machine. If however the floor is soft and resilient a special foundation is required. This foundation must be suitable dimensioned and reinforced. The figure below shows the location of the machine shoes and the the adjusting screws as well as the dimension of the foundation. The required depth of the foundation is depending on the condition of the floor and type of soul as the floor is built on and has to be determed by the customer. The space requirements of the machine is shown in the space drawing,

A special machine foundation is necessary when the existing floor is too soft and elastic for the machine to be placed on. Thickness recommendation of the foundation is shown in the figure below. The machine it self is placed on machine shoes and the CPC are fixed on the foundation by expanding screws. Please installation recommendations in, the instruction manual where will find the other measurements of the foundation. When it is risk for extreme vibrations from machines which are nearby, machines like presses and punching machines, we you to consult a building specialist regarding the the isolation of the foundation.
