Keirsey Temperament Sorter Essay Assignment We  are  using  the  Keirsey  Temperament  Sorter  as  an  introduction  to  Ms.  Carozza,  but  also  an  activity  in  self-­‐ exploration.    Using  the  following  bullet  points  as  a  guide,  construct  an  essay  discussing  the  following  ideas:     1) Give  a  brief  description  of  your  personality  category  (i.e.  Guardian,  Artisan,  etc)  IN  YOUR  OWN  WORDS.  I  have   read  about  this  topic  extensively,  so  please,  I  will  know  if  you  are  plagiarizing  without  even  having  to  look.    (15   pts)   2) Provide  a  general  description  of  your  personality  type*  (i.e.  Counselors/INFJ,  Protectors/ISFJ,  etc)  IN  YOUR   OWN  WORDS.    Discuss  which  characterstics  are  most  like  you.    Also,  discuss  which  characterisics  you  do  not   think  describe  you  well.    (30  pts)   3) Ask  around  the  health  classes  and  find  another  person  who  had  the  same  personality    -­‐  Name  the  person  in   your  essay,.    Then,  describe  3  traits  you  have  in  common  &  three  traits  you  do  not.  (25  pts)   4) Looking  on  keirsey.com,  as  demonstrated  in  class,  find  a  famous  person  under  your  personality  type  –  do  you   think  you  and  the  famous  person  share  similar  traits?    How  so?    Be  specific.  (20  pts)   5) Lastly,  is  there  any  other  personality  type  you  think  best  describes  you?    Take  a  look  through  the  descriptions   &  discuss  which  could  be  another  possibility.    (You  can’t  say  that  there  are  no  others,  read  carefully  &  you  shall   find  one.)  (10  pts)     *  =  When  referring  to  your  personality  type  in  your  essay,  use  both  the  name  (i.e.,  Counselor,  INFJ)     DUE  DATE:    WEDNESDAY,  JANUARY  22ND  BY  11:59  PM  –  SUBMITTED  THROUGH  THE  SCHOOL  WEBSITE  ONLY
