Conferences/Workshops Attended IEEE - Workshop on Pervasive Computing – 2004 Seven Days robotics workshop at IIT Kanpur - 2004 IEEE Hyderabad Section Student Congress – 2006 National Workshop on Excitement of Research at IIIT-H in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Research & Development Showcase at IIIT-H in 2005 and 2006. International Joint Conference on VLSI Design and Embedded Systems 2007 International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence 2007. Projects Done Till Date Sensorpad (1 Month, Study Project) Aim: To study about a device that transmits sensory perceptions across a network and to understand its behavior and try to model one indigenously. Audio Signal Processing and Equalizer (1 Month, Team of 2) Aim: To study the spectrum of various audio signals and to implement and build a 3band equalizer, as well as to implement some audio effects like echo, distortion. Medley of Robots Robotics is one of my favorite areas and I have made many projects out of my own interest. They are light following robot, Bi-pods, Hexa-pods, tabletop robot and line following robot. Bi-directional Visitors Counter (1 Month) Aim: To build an equipment to keep in track of the number of people present in a particular room at a particular time, by installing 2 Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) based sensors at the entry and exit point and then using another circuit to find the difference which is given to the display unit. Virtual Machine- Motorola MC6802 Microprocessor (2 Months, Team of 5) Aim: To study the instruction repertoire of the Motorola MC6902 microprocessor and to make its virtual simulator. The input files are given by the user and the outputs are also printed and saved as files. Low-Power Radix-2 Arithmetic (3 Months, Team of 2) Aim: This project involves the architecture-level design, simulation and synthesis of low-power radix-2 arithmetic operations which are in turn used as basic blocks for Online Arithmetic.
