Lawn  Bowls  Cruise  Tour  of  New  Zealand                                                                              27  January  -  10  February  2015 Port  Visit:  Auckland  -  Pick  up  from  ship  by  coach,  which  will  take  us  on  a  sightseeing  tour  around  the  area,  to  the   Browns  Bay  Bowls  Club  on  Auckland  north  shore.  There  we  will  have  lunch,  fellowship,  followed  by  a  game  of   bowls.  The  coach  will  return  us  to  the  ship,  prior  to  sailing  at  6pm. Port  Visit:  Tauranga  -  Pick  up  from  ship  by  coach,  which  will  take  us  on  a  sightseeing  tour  around  the  area,  to  the   Mt  Maunganui  Sports  club.  There  we  will  have  lunch,  fellowship,  followed  by  a  game  of  bowls.  The  coach  will  re-­ turn  us  to  the  ship,  prior  to  sailing  at  6pm. Port  Visit:  Napier  -  As  the  ship  arrives  at  12  noon,  we  will  not  have  lunch  ashore.  The  coach  will  take  us  to  the   information  centre  at  the  top  of  the  main  street,  so  you  can  take  a  stroll  down  the  street  viewing  the  art  deco  build-­ ings,  or  do  a  little  shopping,  the  bus  will  pick  us  up  at  Clive  Square  then  to  the  Napier  Bowls  club  for  a  game  of   bowls.  We  have  to  be  back  on  board  for  a  7pm  departure. Port  Visit:  Wellington  -  Pick  up  from  ship  by  coach,  which  will  take  us  on  a  sightseeing  tour  around  the  area  (the   opportunity  to  ride  the  cable  car  will  be  available)  and  then  onto    the  Wilton  Bowls  Club.  There  we  will  have  lunch,   fellowship,  followed  by  a  game  of  bowls.  The  coach  will  return  us  to  the  ship,  prior  to  sailing  at  6pm. Port  Visit:   Akoroa   -  Getting  ashore  here  is   by   tender.   Your  morning   will  be  a   free  for   you  to  explore  this  pretty   town  independently.  Meet  at  the  Akaroa  Bowls  club  for  lunch  and  then  bowls.  Ship  sails  at  6pm.   Port  Visit:  Dunedin  -  Pick  up  from  ship  by  coach,  which  will  take  us  on  a  sightseeing  tour  around  the  area,  to  the   Westpac  Bowls  Stadium.  There  we  will  have  lunch,  fellowship,  followed  by  a  game  of  bowls.  The  coach  will  return   us  to  the  ship,  prior  to  sailing  at  6pm.

Costs:   The   Bowls   tour   will   be   limited   to   48   people   including   players   and   non-players.   Package   will   include   transport   to   and   from   the   ship,   sightseeing,   lunch   and   bowls.   The   cost   for   the   bowls   package   will   be   A$379   for   bowlers   A$319   for   non-bowlers.   This   amount   to   be   paid   to   Cruise   Holidays   in   conjunction   with   your   cruise   fare.   Prices  are  subject  to  change,  currency  exchange  and  fuel  costs  etc. Tour  Organiser:  The  tour  is  led  by  Phil  Blank.  Originally  from  New  Zealand,  and  a  member  of  the  Kallangur  Me-­ morial  Bowls  Club.  Has  been  playing  Bowls  for  over  20  years,  is  a  former  national  coach,  and  umpire.
