The event has been organized by the Center of Studies in Contemporary Architecture Bucharest (institution supporting the postdoctoral study) with the kind support of the Center of European Studies Bucharest and the Department of Cultural Studies within the Faculty of Letters, University of Bucharest. The topic of the event followed the customized project plan. The presentation reviewed the postdoctoral project abstract and objectives, but also recalled the first round table (link) which discussed the notion of cultural space as research central theme. The introduction has been followed by a short parallel between the current theme illustrated with case studies, architectures (new and valuable old ones) and key figures describing the development of two cultural capitals: Sibiu (2007) and Graz (2003). The presentation concluded with a short remembrance of the notions connected with the postdoctoral project topic: different types of spaces identified through a brief review of literature, and a selected bibliography. The presentation was followed by a vivid debate regarding mentioned subjects and took advantage on the actual multidisciplinary experience and background of the attending
