Cleaning

High pressure cleaners for the sand and gravel industry, the natural stone industry and the recycling industry. Based on its years of extensive experience in plants, systems and components of process engineering, HAVER & BOECKER developed a system for cleaning impure raw materials mixtures with particle sizes of 0 to 80 mm. This technology offers its customers an environmental advantageous and cost effective cleaning process. The result that emerges from this technological challenge is called HAVER-Hydro-Clean – a high pressure cleaning system suitable for an output material productivity range of 50 to 80 tons/hr. The individual throughput rates can be regulatedin accordance to the level of impurity. Merely 0.12 m3 to 0.20 m3 of fresh water is neccassary for washing one ton of material contaminated with earth or clay with a power consumption of 0.3 to 0.5 kW/hr. The system can be positioned as a single installation in an existing process or may be integrated as part of a complete solution with subsequent equipment such as screening machines, dewatering screens or water recirculators. For the plant operator success are assured.

Computer controlled dosing systems for loading plants

The HAVER dosing systems for volumetric loading operations have been developed specifically for automation and to make process steps more humane. The intended areas of application are crushed stone, gravel and asphalt industry. The hardware and software package for high performance dosing systems generates and optimizes aggregate blends and also mixes, doses, weighs, checks, diagnoses, performs statistics and documents in tabular form all important operational parameters of the loading processes. The basic software package of the dosing computer consists of: • a display of screening curves with upper/lower limits • a display of silo filling levels • dosing selection of the blend to be loaded • aggregate blend input and administration • a weighing programme for recording silo discharge curves • plain text display of error messages with error documentation • a configuration programme for loading control

Measuring, analysing and automation

The HAVER & BOECKER product range offers a wide variety of products for particle measurement engineering and laboratories. Included are sieve analysis machines for obtaining particle size composition and allow sieve analyses to be performed in the shortest possible time. Depending on the type of material, area of application and site location, various designs are available for dry or wet screening. They are all high performance, robust and low maintenance equipment which have a proven track record of reliable use over the years. HAVER gradation analysis sieves are manufactured in accordance to the applicable national and international standards: DIN ISO 3310, ASTM E 11, BS 410, AFNOR , etc. HAVER has also developed the CSA -Software for the computerized analysis of standard-complying sieve analyses. HAVER furrowed sample splitters are used for dividing material samples into representative test samples. Clean sieves for analysis are a prerequisite for exact screening results. A HAVER USC -cleaning unit has a proven track record as a reliable cleaning system. The HAVER CPA 3-2 particle measurement instrument scans free-falling particles using a high speed CCD camera and outputs the particle size results and grain form distribution. The high pixel number allows a very broad measurement range. As an online variant, the CPA instrument may be integrated in the production process, which makes machine adjustment regulation possible.

Screen surface materials

The lasting success of HAVER screening technology is based on an inhouse interaction of professional know-how and creative energy. Screening machines, engineering, production and wire weaving as a corporate conglomerate sets free synergies which are reflected by direct customer benefit. The selection of the adequate screen surface with regard to material, aperture width or type of perforation is decisive for productivity and screening effiency of the machine. Only the precise correlation of material feed rate, feed material and its physical properties and the type of screen surface enables a technical optimising of the overall system and thus makes it profitable. For selection and application of wire mesh screen sections, HAVER disposes of an extensive range of in-house products. The advantage: The optimum screen section is a “standard” component for each respective machine and application.
