Host: Welcome to The Best breaking news on Channel 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10! We have some very special guests today, one is going to teach us how to multiply. And then another special guest will teach you how to divide, if we have time! Ladies and Gentleman, first, please welcome Dr.Blablabla! She is an english doctor who also loves to study multiplication. So once again, ladies and gentleman, please welcome Dr.Blablabla! (Really sarcastic applause) Dr.Blablabla: Thank you, for the warm welcome. Welcome people, to the world of math. Where everyone suffers pain to solve problems that are most impossible to solve! Multiplication is one of the awesome ways to solve math,and it is also one of my favorite ways. The process of combining matrices, vectors, or other quantities under specific rules to obtain their product. Matrices is something that develops. Now I will let my assistant Random girl do the talking. Ladies and other men, please welcome my assistant, Random Girl! Audience: Cheers loudly Dr.Blablabla: "Really, people, really?" Random Girl: Hi everyone, are you ready to learn about multiplication? (everyone cheers) Well people, too bad. I'm studying. See! (Shows barbie picture) Dr Blablabla: Random girl, stick to the task! Fine, I'll be nice today (pouting). Multiplication was invented by the Babylonians thousands of years ago.

Camera Girl: So who invented the multiplication table? Random girl:The mathematical table can be traced back to 1900 BC. Where Babylonian mathematics were written in the clay tablets they find. Oh and BTW, I like pie. Camera Girl: What is multiplication? Random Girl: Multiplication is basically repeated addition. It just an easier way then adding a lot of numbers together. Dr.Blablabla: Oh, so now you don't have any random comments! Random Girl:Oh ok, you want one? Your pants aren't zipped up and i'm not lying! Audience:laughing sound effects. sound effect= S.E. Dr.Blablabla: Anyways, today we will be teaching you how to multiply!!! (groan sound effect) Come on people! Random Girl: Oh come on people.. i know she looks really weird but give her some credit! Dr. Blablabla: (clears throat) now back to multiplication. Multiplication is basically repeated addition. For example 2x5= what, we basically figure out what is 5 added 2 times. Or we could add 2, 5 times. And then the answer will be 10.

Random Girl: Ok, first we multiply 612 × 4 (=2,448), then we multiply 612 × 20 (=12,240), and last we add them together (2,448+12,240=14,688). Dr.Blablabla: Did you just do long multiplication!!! You've never done long multiplication before! Random Girl: Well, actually I kind of took some of your research paper and studied it before the news broadcast. (looks in embarrassment) Host:Pegasus flying in the sky... Random Girl: Yeah, now the host is random too!! (she sings a song about RANDOMNESS),(after finished song) the song but i never got to finish writing the song... The producer bailed on me... SIGH Host: Hmm I wonder WHY? (Sarcastically) Anyways, let's head back to our subject today. Dr. Blablabla: Finally! It is my turn to explain. Now today we will start with an easier question like 12x6. First we have to multiply the ones then move on to the tens. Now the first multiplication we will have to do is 2x6 (12) then we do 1x6 (6). Finally we have to put the 12 on top of the 6. And then give 6 a tens place because 1 was a ten. Now for the final step.. Random Girl:Ooh ooh The Multiplication Table!!!!!

Dr. Blablabla: Oh the multiplication chart! Random girl why did you not tell me earlier? Random GIrl: Sorry ( sarcastically) , GOSH it is not like I am your assistant or anything! Dr. Blablabla: you kinda are... Random Girl: So? Does that mean I am your slave? Dr. Blablabla: Oh I give up... Now a multiplication chart is basically a chart that can help you learn your multiplication table. It is a very helpful tool if you ever forget your multiplication table! Camera Guy: Last minute, hurry wrap this up! Host: Oh um, sorry folks I guess division will just have to wait until next week. Random Girl: Oh and Do NOT forget I LOVE PIE!!!! Dr. Blablabla: But but I did not even get to finish my perfectly designed speech!
