Books ‘N Brie Book Club: THURSDAY, JULY 13, 3:30 pm. “Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of Family & Culture in Crisis” by JD Vance. Hillbilly Elegy is the story of how upward mobility really feels. And it is an urgent and troubling meditation on the loss of the American dream for a large segment of this country. Ron Lloyd the Bubbleman: THURSDAY, JULY 6, 1 PM. Bubbleologist Ron Lloyd has been performing in libraries, schools and science centers for over 25 years to audiences from preschool age to septuagenarians. Summer Reading ENDS: THURSDAY, JULY 6, 11 am. Those who participated can bring reading log in for prizes! Writers Group: TUESDAY, JULY 18, 1 pm. The group will review a member’s writing sample.
