Learning has been described as “transfer of knowledge from teachers to learners, with an expected output‟. Nowadays information and computer technologies have potential to enhance traditional leaning process. Studies Internet denote in education. Many universities use web to offer online courses and , post syllabi and conduct some courses online. While web (1.0) is mostly a used for reading, its new generation, web 2.0, offers interaction and collaboration which both are important in learning. Coining new terms such as education 2.0 and health 2.0 denotes the originates applications in applications of web2.0 technologies in medical education. Furthermore, new generation of learners needs new technologies in learning settings. Web 2.0 technologies offer many unique features, a blog as an informal journal can be useful for following a topic progress. Wikis allow users to add, edit and remove content. Podcasts and vodcasts offer digital downloading from websites to iPods and MP3 players. Instant messaging allows synchronous communication between two or several individuals. Media sharing can be used for uploading, storing and then sharing visual media. An individual‟s favorite websites can be bookmarked, stored on a website and shared. Since web 2.0 technologies offers new opportunities in medical education and can revolutionize it, this study was conducted to investigate web 2.0 technologies use by students in Kerman University of Medical Sciences. This study conducted through a survey on medical student in Kerman Medical University sciences. A variety of academic degrees including, Bsc, Msc, PhD , GP and residents field were recruited randomly using proportion to size approach. A total of 551 students were recruited .The data collection tool was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS. Among participants 64 percent were familiar with web 2.0 and approximately 59% used at least one of these tools. Different academic degrees showed diverse usage and familiarity with web 2.0 (pvalue=
