This program is designed to give you instruction in four areas of English including reading, listening, speaking and writing. You will be introduced to the processes and mechanics of the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language Internet Based Test (TOEFL iBT). Through this course, you will understand the test format, review various test question styles, learn suggested preparation and test-taking techniques, and complete a variety exercises and practices tests which reflect the actual TOEFL iBT while utilizing several online test preparation resources.

Recognize the different types of one-point questions and multiple-point questions presented in the iBT reading section. Appropriately apply the four strategies to the different types of reading questions. Identify and develop strategies for improving your reading TOEFL score.

Understand what the listening section of the TOEFL test is aiming to measure. Recognize different types of listening prompts and questions presented in the TOEFL iBT.
