PASSPORT TO SEFARAD This program is specifically designed to help you pass the tests required for obtaining Spanish nationality. Spanish Test: DELE A2 All of our teachers have ample experience in preparing students for the DELE exam.

the DELE A2 Our curriculum for obtaining consists of 4 courses (30 hours each) and a 20 hour course oriented exclusively towards passing the test. Take a placement test with us and sign up for the course that best suits you! Based on the result of the placement test you will be recommended to do 1, 2, 3 or 4 courses of 30 hours.

WHAT IS INSTITUTO CERVANTES? Instituto Cervantes is a Spanish public institution with centers throughout the world whose goal is to spread the Spanish language and culture in Spanish.

LAW GRANTING SPANISH CITIZENSHIP TO PEOPLE WITH A SPANISH-SEPHARDIC ORIGIN The Law granting Spanish nationality to people of Spanish-Sephardic origin goes into effect on October 1st, 2015. The law to recognize "the seeks Sefarad children of who maintained a flow of nostalgia immune to the evolution of languages and generations" and thus "take a firm step towards the reunion of the final reconciliation with the Sephardic communities."

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS? To apply for Spanish nationality, you do not need to reside in Spain or renounce another nationality. Applicants must demonstrate: 1. their Spanish- Sephardic origin. 2. knowledge of Spanish history and culture by passing two tests administered by Instituto Cervantes: Basic knowledge of the Spanish language, (DELE A2 or higher). Knowledge of the Spanish Constitution and contemporary Spanish culture and society (CCSE).

The Instituto Cervantes of Albuquerque, part of the Embassy of Spain in USA, teaches Spanish to groups and individuals, companies and institutions and participate in the cultural life of the country since 1999.

We are the only institution that administers the DELE exams. The Spanish law has made Instituto Cervantes exclusively reponsible for designing and implementing the tests for Spanish nationality. We have prepared and examined students for the DELE exams for decades, our teachers are very familiar with these tests, which guarantees top quality. We offer courses with flexible schedules designed to help you pass this test. Our program Passport to Sefarad includes, not only preparatory courses for the DELE A2, but also offers sociocultural workshops to prepare for the socio-cultural test (CCSE). We know Sefarad

WHAT ARE THE EXAMS LIKE? The Diplomas DELE are official documents certifying the degree of competence and mastery of Spanish, granted by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain. Following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), Level A2 is the second of a total of 6 levels. DELE A2 has two parts: a written and an oral test. Sociocultural test (CCSE) is a test of 25 multiple choice questions on various aspects of Spanish Constitution, society and culture. The DELE tests will be offered 5 times a year: April, May, July, October and November, and the CCSE test will be offered the last Thursday of every month, with the exception of August and December.

HOW DO I START THE PROCESS? Make an appointment and take the placement test. Depending on your language skills, your time availability and possible dates for the test, we will offer a tailored plan in our program Passport to Sefarad.
