Abstract ECOSYSTEM APPROACH USING PARTIAL LEAST SQUARE TO THE PLANING MANAGEMENT MADURA STRAIT DEMERSAL FISHERIES Darmawan Ockto Sutjipto This study aims to analyze the indicators affecting the lack of continuity of demersal fisheries resources in the Madura Strait. Partial Least Square (PLS) is used in the study design eksplanatory (explanatory research). Ethical construct is reflected by the indicators of demersal fisheries resources depletion exacerbate the geographic proximity, the influx of fishermen on fishing activities, the lack of involvement of fishermen in the process of co-management, the practice of illegal, unregulated and unreported (IUU) in the Madura Strait, many ships without permission by status fish resources (SDI), and the presence of fish discarded. Tecnology construct is an indicator of active fishing gear worsen the condition of demersal fisheries resource depletion in Madura Strait.

KEY WORDS : INDICATORS, CO-MANAGEMENT, IUU
