e253 INSTALLATION FILE The Can Bus line is able to provide all the information needed for operation of the e253 alarm by means of the vehicle’s ALARMS Can line. To enable dialogue between the alarm control unit and the vehicle, you must ask the car dealer to enable the ALARMS Can line by means of the diagnostics tester. Enabling of the ALARMS Can line is essential for the product to work and can be done either before or after the product is fitted.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNECTION OF CAN BUS CONNECTOR

Cut the connector already fitted on the alarm’s cable (designed for Citroen vehicles) and connect the CINC connector (for Peugeot vehicles) found in the PGT bag of accessories (see Fig 2). Connect the wires in the cable with the wires of the same colour on the connector. After completing connections, insert the CINC connector in the presetting for the BSI control unit (see Fig 3) If the presetting is already being used by an original connector, cut the wires from the connector on the alarm cable downstream to the fuse and make connections as shown in wiring diagram 4
