Workshop Brochure Autumn 2017 1

August 2017 Dear Quilters, Sewers and Crafters, And here we are in the 8th month of the year already. Summer in full swing with lots of holiday makers visiting our beautiful county. We hope you are enjoying some time off too and spending more time on sewing. We have been very busy preparing for that major event at the end of the year (we don’t want to say the C-word yet, do we?). The C…….. fabrics have arrived including all the panels and advent calendars, so we have a lot of samples to make. The small mittens are adorable and how about the panel with all the heart, baubles and stars to make some decorations for the tree? Or use them to make a festive wreath… And if you want to make something really quick, have a look at the pre-printed hexagons and triangles fabric by the metre. The design is gorgeous in red, green, cream, black and gold and will make a stunning tablerunner, table cloth or placemats or even a whole quilt without all the piecing to do. Between now and then we will have fabric deliveries of forest creatures, children’s panels, flannels, a new version of the ‘Heartwood’ range with which a lot of you made your ‘Countryside Idyll’ quilts, a 1930s retro range and a seaside range very different to what we’ve had before…(just to name a few) Of course our favourite, TILDA, will be high on our ‘want-list’. ‘Harvest’ will be in the shop any day now and October will see another range released, this time called ‘The Cottage Collection’. Make sure to ‘LIKE’ our Facebook page to be in the know when these ranges arrive and to see the lovely work everyone creates at our workshops. Enjoy reading through our Brochure below and hopefully you’ll find some classes to your liking. A lot of samples for our workshops are already available to view in the shop. All other samples will be here from the beginning of September. We’re always happy to talk you through any classes or courses you might have queries about.

With kindest regards from Myriam and Sunny, the Material Girls.
