Graduation requirements and student evaluation The student has to attend 10 seminars in the field of study, three hours each. Then he has to write a report on each seminar (3 Hours), and a discussion with the professors (3 Hours). Thus this counts totally 90 working hours (estimation 4 credits for this task). Evaluation : The student is evaluated according to the following: 1- Short periodical quizzes, written and oral. 2- Mid-term exam, this is a written exam. 3- Final practical exam. 4- Final written exam. The allowed time of each exam equals half the time of the credit hours of the course; minimum two hours for each exam. 5- When the course includes theoretical and practical parts, the mid-term exam should be in both parts of the course; practical and theoretical. 6- In case of the practical training, the presence and the practical skills are measures of evaluation. 7- The student has the right to see his answer paper and to discuss with the professor about his marks. This is not applicable to the final written exam. Marks distribution. 100 marks are assigned for each one credit course and they are distributed according to following: 1- Courses that do not include practical part. a- 20 % for the short periodical quizzes and homework. b- 20% mid-term exam. c- 60% final written exam. 2- Courses that include practical parts a- 10 % for the short periodical quizzes and homework. b- 10% % mid-term exam. c- 20% for the practical exam. d- 60% final written exam. 3- Field training a- 50% evaluated by the field staff. b- 50% evaluated by accompanying supervisor.
