The course will start with an outline of sensitivity, resolution, and discrimination to establish the capabilities and applications of radar electronic warfare. It will then go on to study the various electronic attack and associated defence measures applicable to modern radar systems. This includes various passive defence measures to minimise radar detection. The course will identify the role and quantify the performance a modern radar systems, highlighting appropriate electronic defence measures against specified threats. The course covers the following: • Introduction to RADAR Electronic Warfare and the EW Threat • Electronic Surveillance • Electronic Attack • Electronic Defence • RADAR Low Observability (LO), Advanced RADAR Signature Control, and Advanced Materials
The course is aimed at military staff, engineers, project managers and allied professions employed in the field of RADAR Electronic Warfare.
