What You Need to Know: 1. The contest is open for the entire community (Adults/brothers & Sisters). 2. Youth boys and girls are highly encouraged and motivated to participate. 3. Choose any Surah you would like to memorize, and start memorizing. Do not hesitate to ask for assistance. There are many who would be willing to help you out. You can memorize as many Surahs you want. Remember it is Quran, the more the better. 4. Continue working on the Surah of your choice during the month, and inform the program coordinator when you have finished memorizing it. 5. There will be a “Tas’mee” (final reading). An assigned person will do the Tas’mee to ensure that the person has memorized the Surah correctly and with proper pronunciation/Tajweed rules. 6. Brothers and sisters will be reading to brothers and sisters respectively. The Tas’mee (final reading) schedule, as well as names of those assigned for listening will be announced later. 7. All those who have participated and memorized any portion/Surahs of the Quran will be recognized, and their names will be announced during the night of Khatm-ul-Quran. Level One
