ABSTRACT Flood is a disaster which often happens every year, so it makes people restless, especially of the road users who experience congestion due to flooding. During this measuring device to determine the flood of recent data carried on the banks of the river, so that road users can not know the current condition of the flood path. Therefore it takes a flood early warning system that can provide information directly and real time. Technique which used is installed a system that has a sensor gauges level of water on the road who prone flood. Sensor output voltage is proportional to the increase in water level, and later in the acquisition and processed using the equation formula to determine the ratio between the time of the water and increase travel time of speed across the street that could potentially flood. This used to be vehicle don’t caught to flooded while crossing the road. The value of water level are also mapped in certain zones of the present level of flood hazard. Then the water level data is sent to a work station display a warning and water level conditions The tests are performed by measuring of water level in a vessel. When the water level measurements, performed the time change of speed water increases, so that can know the time comparison between the rise in water level with car travel time across the sensor system. Then sending the data to be sent through a wireless sensor system is continuing. Microcontroller in charge of receiving and displaying the data moved slowly away from the sensor system to determine the maximum range of wireless coverage. and display data to test the validity of the data sent. The results obtained from testing sensor accuracy level of 99.03% and the average level of validity of the data via wireless transmission of 62.23%.
