Rick Beyer Bio Rick Beyer is a successful author, an award winning documentary producer, and a lifelong history enthusiast. Rick has made documentaries for The History Channel, A&E, National Geographic, the Smithsonian and others. His credits include The Wright Challenge, Expedition Apocalypse, and Timelab 2000, an acclaimed collection of 200 history minutes hosted by Sam Waterston. He is now finishing an independent film entitled The Ghost Army, a WWII story of war, deception and art premiering on PBS in 2013. He is also the author of the popular Greatest Stories Never Told series of history books, published by Harper Collins. The Chicago Tribune described the series as “an old fashioned sweetshop full of tasty morsels.” The most recent title in that series is The Greatest Music Stories Never Told. Rick has written for The History Channel Magazine, Politico.com, and numerous other publications. He has shared his unique take on history in interviews on CNN, The Discovery Channel, NPR and Fox News, and with audiences around the counry. A graduate of Dartmouth College, he currently lives in Lexington, Massachusetts.
