Bids must be acc ompanied by Earnest Money deposit/Bid Sec urity of the amount specified for the work in the table c ol.5 above, pledged in favour of conc erned Executive Engineer as specified for the work at Col.-04 above and will have to be in any one of the forms as spec ified in the bidding doc uments. Bidders desirous to hire machineries or equipments from out side the State or owned but deployed outside the state are required to furnish 2% of the amount put to tender as Bid sec urity.

The Bid documents will be available in the website: www.tendersorissa.gov.in from 10.00 AM of 18.01.2013 to 5.00 PM of 02.02.2013 for online bidding.

The bidder must possess c ompatible Digital S ignature Certific ate (DSC) of Class-II or Class-III.

Bids shall be rec eived only on “on line” on or before 5.00 PM of 02.02.2013.

Bids received on line shall be opened at 11.30 Hours on 07.02.2013 in the offic e of the Engineer-inChief (Civil), Nirmana S audha, Unit-V, Bhubaneswar, Odisha in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Bidders who participated in the bid can witness the opening of bids after logging on to the site through their DSC. If the offic e happens to be c losed on the last date of opening of the bids as specified, the bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.

After the date & time of rec eipt of bid is over, the original Bid sec urity and Demand draft towards cost of Bid doc uments shall be submitted in the offic e of the undersigned on or before date & time of opening of Bid as specified at Para 07 above, during office hours on working days failing which the bid will be rejected.

The cost of bid doc uments in demand draft issued from any Nationalised Sc heduled Bank may be prepared in the name of the c onc erned Executive Engineer, mentioned under c olumn 4 above payable at headquarter of c oncerned Division separately for Rs.10,000.00 & Rs.500.00 towards c ost & VAT of eac h Bid respec tively.
