We invite you to participate in the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Biotechnology as an Instrument for Plant Biodiversity Conservation (physiological, biochemical, embryological, genetic and legal aspects)» The Conference will take place on October 1st - 5th 2018, in Yalta (Russia). The work of the conference will include scientific sessions, discussions in the format of the “round tables” and seminars. The program of the conference includes the following topics for discussion: 1. Investigations of plant biodiversity in vitro, in situ and ex situ. 2. Clonal micropropagation of plants: theoretical and applied aspects. 3. Creation of plant collections, methods for germplasm conservation. 4. Molecular genetics techniques for plant biodiversity studies. 5. Biochemical studies of plant germplasm; synthesis and usage of biological active substances. 6. Physiological aspects of plants development and resistance. 7. Plant reproductive biology in biodiversity conservation. 8. Informational-analytical providing for the studies of plant genetic resources. 9. Normative-legal base and methodological aspects of plant world biodiversity conservation. In the course of the conference, we plan to organize the Symposium Tour and Post-Symposium Tour in the Arboretum of FSFIS “NBG-NSC”, “Biotron”, Natural Parks and testing of Elite Wines of our region. The working languages of the conference are English. To participate in the work of the Conference you are invited to fill in the Registration Form at the website of the conference: https://biotech2018.yolasite.com/ and to submit the Abstracts via the system ROSA (http://www.actahort.org/members/symposiar?nr=532), both in Russian and in English. The Registration Form should be submitted before June 1st 2018, and Abstracts should be submitted before June 30th 2018. All the participants who has already filled the Registration Form are kindly asked to renew it at the website because of some more questions about participants. Instructions for Abstract submission The abstract must be typed in English. For participants of NIS countries – in English and in Russian. Abstract is submitted by the Presenting Author (please underline) who attached them below his/her RegistrationForm. The main text of the abstract should not exceed 300 words. The title, authors` names, institution name and address and e-mail are put above the main text and should not exceed 40 words. Keywords are presented after the text (not more than 7). Only electronic submission via the Conference website and the
system ROSA: http://www.actahort.org/members/symposiar?nr=532 will be accepted. For ISHS (International Society for Horticultural Science) members abstract submission is free. Non-members ISHS should paid for abstract submission at the website ROSA by credit card. Abstracts not corresponding to the recommended format or the topics of the conference will not be accepted. It is supposed to publish abstracts as a print Book of the Abstracts or ebook on flash with registration at e-library. Confirmation of registration and obtain of the abstract will be sent by email to all registered participants during 5 working days. If you don't receive the confirmation, please, contact the Organizing Committee. Full Manuscripts After the abstract accepted by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee each author has the opportunity to publish an article (not more than 6 pages) in the scientific journal Acta Horticulturae, indexed by Web of Science and Scopus. An article should be submitted via the system ROSA: http://www.actahort.org/members/symposiar?nr=532 The article should be written in professional English; articles translated via electronic translators will not be considered. One presenting author has possibility to submit no more than one fullpaper to publication in the scientific journal Acta Horticulturae. Instructions for the system ROSA and article submissions are presented at the website ISHS: http://www.ishs.org/authors The decision about each article publication will based on two anonymous reviews and after all needed corrections.
Plenary presentations are according to the invitation of the Organizing Committee.
