FUN IN THE SNOW AND DIRT CONTEST RULES This contest is being organized by La Capitale General Insurance (La Capitale). It runs from August 15, 2013 to 3:00 p.m. on January 24, 2014.

1. ELIGIBILITY   

Must be a resident of the province of Quebec Must be age 18 or over on the date of the draw, i.e. on January 24, 2014 Must hold a valid driver's licence and the necessary licence for driving the leisure vehicle being offered as a prize, if applicable

2. TO ENTER Subject to the restrictions stated in Section 8 of these rules, there are five (5) ways to enter to become one of the eight (8) finalists eligible to win one of the prizes described below: At trade shows Complete a paper or electronic entry form and indicate the expiry date of your personal automobile, property or leisure vehicle insurance contract and agree to receive noobligation insurance quotes and information on products offered by La Capitale. Online Complete an electronic entry form and indicate the expiry date of your personal automobile, property or leisure vehicle insurance contract and agree to receive noobligation insurance quotes and information on products offered by La Capitale. On Facebook All you have to do is "like" La Capitale and complete an electronic entry form on La Capitale's Facebook page. (Facebook.com/LaCapitaleAssuranceServicesFinanciers) Participants can increase their chances of winning by inviting their friends to enter the contest by sharing the contest's Facebook page. For each friend that enters the contest, participants receive one (1) additional entry form. Or After requesting an eligible online quote, participants can also increase their chances to win by sharing the contest on their Facebook page by using the Share button in the contest registration confirmation pop-up window. Sharing grants one (1) additional entry. With an online or telephone quote By requesting a quote online or by telephone for a leisure vehicle (ATV or snowmobile) from La Capitale General Insurance Inc. or one of its authorized representatives. Each quote entitles the participant to three (3) entries. Being insured with La Capitale Those who already have a ATV or snowmobile insurance policy in effect at the time of the draw will be automatically entered in the contest. Each ATV or snowmobile insurance product in effect on the draw date entitles the participant to one (1) entry.

3. CONTEST PERIOD The contest runs from August 15, 2013 to 3 p.m. on January 24, 2014.

5. CONTEST ENTRY DEADLINE The deadline for entering the contest is 3:00 p.m. on January 24, 2014.

6. THE DRAW Selecting the finalists The eight (8) finalists will be selected by a random draw from among the eligible entries for the chance to win one of the four (4) grand prizes to be awarded by random draw at a gala evening event. Date and location of draw The draw to determine the eight (8) finalists will be held at 4:00 p.m. on January 24, 2014 at the La Capitale General Insurance Marketing and e-Commerce department, located at 625 Saint-Amable St, P.O. Box 17100 Quebec QC G1K 9E2 Prizes will be awarded on February 1, 2014 at a gala evening to be held at the Delta Saguenay hotel located at 2675 Royaume Blvd, Jonquière QC G7S 5B8. Procedures and conditions for the draw and awarding of prizes During the gala event, the four (4) grand prize winners will be selected by random draw from among the eight (8) finalists. The first name that is drawn is the winner of the first prize, the second wins the second prize, the third wins the third prize, the fourth wins the fourth prize, in the sequence described in Section 4. The four remaining finalists, whose names will not be drawn, will be awarded the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th prizes as described in Section 4. To be declared a winner To be declared a winner, the participant or a representative must be present at the gala event. Mathematical skill-testing question In order to claim the prize, the person must correctly answer a mathematical question. Claiming the prize The winner must claim the prize from one of the authorized dealers within 30 days following the date he or she was contacted by La Capitale with the terms for taking possession of the prize, failing which La Capitale reserves the right to select another winner by random draw.

7. INSURANCE CREDITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS The following terms and conditions apply to insurance credits offered as prizes in this contest: Winners of insurance credits must satisfy the usual underwriting standards of La Capitale General Insurance Inc. in order to take advantage of this prize. La Capitale General Insurance Inc. reserves the right to decline to issue an insurance contract in the event the winner does not satisfy its usual underwriting standards. In this situation, a compensatory amount of $250 will be awarded to the winner in the form of a cheque. The winner must contact a La Capitale General Insurance Inc. damage insurance agent for a quote and, if eligible, he or she may apply the credit amount to the total annual premium, including taxes, of the policy issued for insuring the prize. If the annual premium, including taxes, is less than the credit amount won, the winner may use the prize to reduce the deductible, increase coverage or apply it to part or all of the premiums in future years. There is no time limit on applying the entire prize. If the insurance policy is cancelled by the insured or the insurer, the unused credit amount is cancelled. If the winner declines the insurance policy, she or he is deemed to have waived the right to the prize.

8. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS Entry restrictions The number of entries per person is limited, as described in Section 2 of this contest. Exclusions Employees of participating companies and of La Capitale General Insurance Inc., affiliated agents and agencies and their employees as well as employees of all subsidiaries of La Capitale Financial Group and individuals residing at the same address may not enter the contest. La Capitale reserves the right to disqualify participants or entries that are not in compliance with contest rules. Use of the names of the finalists and winners Each finalist and winner authorizes the use of his or her name and photograph for publicity purposes. La Capitale reserves the right to use the names of the finalists and winners for publicity purposes.

9. LIMITS ON LIABILITY AND CONTEST MANAGEMENT La Capitale General Insurance Inc. cannot be held liable for changes to or the cancellation of the contest on account of, but not limited to, bad weather, storms, war, rebellion or insurrection. Furthermore, La Capitale cannot be held liable for any entry forms that are lost, incorrectly sent or received late or for any malfunction that, for whatever reason, affects the availability or the operating capacity of the website or any component of the telecommunication system and network during this contest. The winner acknowledges that the various product suppliers and manufacturers are wholly and exclusively responsible for supplying the products offered as prizes in this contest, including the quality thereof and any applicable warranties. In this respect, the winner releases La Capitale Insurance from all liability or damage caused by his or her entry or acceptance and use of the prize. It is the winner's responsibility to register and license any vehicle won as part of this contest. La Capitale reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this contest or to cancel it at any time without notice, upon authorization by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec. Any such decision by La Capitale is final and without appeal, upon decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec involving any question under its jurisdiction.

10. DISPUTE Any dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. In the event of a discrepancy between the French and English versions of these rules, the French version shall take precedence.
