Setup Outlook 2010 for NCIA E-Mail 1) Open Microsoft Office Outlook 2010. 2) If this is the first time you have opened Outlook 2010 then the Startup wizard will show. Click Next. Otherwise skip ahead to Step 4.
3) Outlook will ask if you wish to configure an email account. Select Yes and click Next.
4) If the Setup Wizard does not show then click the File menu and click Add Account.
5) Select “Manually configure server settings or additional server types”. 6) Click Next.
7) Select “Internet E-Mail” and then click Next.
8) Now you can enter your NCIA settings as follows: A) Your Name: Enter your full Name B) E-mail Address: Enter your NCIA email address C) Account Type: POP3 D) Incoming Mail Server: mail.ncia.net E) Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.ncia.net F) User Name: Your username (Without @ncia.net) G) Password: Your password provided by NCIA
9) Click on More Settings.
10) Click on the Outgoing Server tab 11) Click on the “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”. 12) Make sure the “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” is checked.
13) Click Ok. 14) Click Next. 15) Click Close. 16) Click Finish. You are now all set.
