Course Description: This course is a graduate level theory-oriented course focusing on social networks, selforganizing systems, group decision making, organizational communication, and leadership. This course seeks for a thorough training and practices of organization theories. Ultimately, all students should be able to write a publishable academic research paper on organizational communication by taking this course. Class Type: SEMINAR (NOT LECTURE) Credit: 3 hours.
Purpose: To learn the theoretical development of organizational communication and to strive to apply scholaric theories to interpret real world cases

Computing Requirements: This class requires a regular use of the Internet. You need personal access to a computer connected to the Internet for this course. The instructor assumes that students have access in their living space, or use the University's public computing environment.
