Stuck In The Moment By Gb I looked at you as you walked down the grand staircase of the hall. The decorations for the winter ball fits perfectly with your dress. You are like Aphrodite herself coming down from Olympus. Beautiful. Radiant. Perfect. Your every step brings you closer to me. To me. I can’t believe a goddess was walking towards me. Your face is the most captivating thing in the world. The way you walk is so lady like, so demure, and so sexy. I wanted to run to you but time is stopping me from doing it. It’s as if time is teasing me. As you get closer to me the more I fell in love with you. I can’t take my eyes off of you. I don’t want to bloat my ego but I thought you were looking at me too. You were on the last step of the grand staircase when someone from my back excused himself and move forward. Towards you. My heart broke that instant. You were not looking at me. You were looking at him. Not me. Him. I guess that’s the reason why I can’t manage to summon my courage to go towards you, because you were never meant to be mine. I walked down the grand staircase of the hall. It was a winter ball. I looked at the people in the hall and immediately saw the one person that I would like to take my hand at the last step of the stair. You were so handsome in your suit with your clean cut hair. You are a prince in your own right. A man every woman would like to have by their side. To love her. To be with her all her life. I looked at you and you stiffened. I smiled at the thought of you looking at me too. Every step I take brings me closer to you. I want you to move. Move closer to me and stay at the last balustrade of the stair. Take my hand and dance with me all night. I took my last step on the stair and stopped. Move you idiot! I prayed silently. But you never moved. Someone from your back moved forward. It was your friend. He moved closer to me and took my hand. I took my last glimpse of you. I hope that you moved. Be with me. But you didn’t. I wish we could stay like that forever.
