Intermediate Students (Grades 4, 5, 6) are offered forty-five minute lessons during one P.E. class per week. Tuition covers one lesson per week each week of the school year except exam weeks and weeks when the scheduled lesson day is a Donoho holiday. Some months will have more lessons, and some months less, depending on holiday schedule. The tuition remains the same each month. Monthly tuition is as follows: Primary Grades (Banjo, Guitar, Mandolin, Piano and Voice) $70.00 Intermediate/Middle/Upper Grades (Banjo, Guitar, Mandolin, Piano and Voice) $90.00 Primary Grades (Violin/Viola) Intermediate/Middle/Upper Grades (Violin/Viola)

$80.00 $100.00

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE There will be no lessons during Donoho holidays or exam weeks. Lessons are scheduled during Intersession. Students who will be away for Intersession may schedule a make-up lesson if desired.

MAKE-UP POLICY Make-up lessons are guaranteed only if the teacher must cancel. If a student is ill, please notify the teacher before school so that an attempt can be made to switch lesson times with another student. If a student must miss a lesson for a doctor’s appointment, a vacation, field trip, a sporting event, or any other reason, it is the parents’ responsibility to notify the teacher by Monday of that week so that the teacher can attempt to reschedule the lesson.

PRACTICE The success of the student depends on how much time the student practices each day. Lessons alone will not give the student the ability to play an instrument. Daily practice is very important to reach the weekly goals. Depending on the age of the student, parents may need to take an active role in assuring the student is practicing properly and is accomplishing the weekly assignments.
