The Electrical Conductivity Of Partly Ionized Helium Plasma Vladimir A. Sreckovic*, Ljubinko Ignjatovic* and A. A. Mihajlov* 'Institute of Physics, PO Box 57, 11001 Belgrade, Serbia Abstract. In this paper we analyzed atoms influence on electro conductivity, partially ionized helium plasma, in temperature region 5 000 K - 40 000 K and pressure 0.1 - 10 atm. Electro conductivity was calculated using "Frost like" formula and Random Phase Approximation method and Semi-Classical (SC) approximation. Keywords: Helium plasma, electro conductivity. PACS: 51.70.+f, 52.27.Gr electro conductivity decrease with presence of neutral particles. Influence of neutral atoms on electro conductivity is dominant on low temperature. We compared our results with existing experimental and theoretical results of other authors.

INTRODUCTION It is well known, that the considerably interesting is the class of partly ionized plasma where the presence of neutral component can't be neglect even if it doesn't dominate compared to electron and ion component. The intention of this work is development of the method of involving the neutral component together with ionized component.

In this work we investigated atoms influence on electro conductivity, partly ionized helium plasma, in temperature region 5 000 K - 40 000 K and pressure 0.1 - 10 atm. Electro conductivity was calculated using "Frost like" formula, were total electronic relaxation time or effective frequency for collision between electron and other plasma particles is sum of electron-electron, electron-ion and electron-atom scattering frequency. Electron-electron and electronion interaction frequency was calculated with well known Random Phase Approximation (RPA) method and corresponding Semi-Classical (SC) approximation [1]. The determination of electron-neutral particles scattering frequency come to calculation of elastic electron atom cross section. In this work (for determination of elastic electron-atom cross section) we use our model potential of electron-atom interaction in simple analytical form, and the partial wave method for the potential scattering (see [2]). Results show that neutral particles, play an important role in electro conductivity, partly ionized helium plasma, in temperatures below 25 000 K, where
