• Reading Comprehension – 100 questions, written format • Incomplete sentences, error recognition, reading comprehension – 75 mins
• Plus 30 mins General Admin – Allow 2.5 hours total time
Testing Options • 2 Types of Administration – Open Test Centres – fixed test dates held at various locations

NEW TOEIC • Redesigned TOEIC Listening and Reading sections will be launched this month in Japan
• New TOEIC Speaking and Writing components will be launched in December this year.
Why the Redesign? • To align the test with current views of English Language Proficiency
• It must match the abilities being measured • “More Authentic” is the concept
