In The Treasure Box Box: Julia Donaldson Last Week: Week: We hope everyone had a nice Veteran’s Day! The previous week we went on our trip to Denny’s Pet World and it was a complete success! The children saw a great variety of animals and were able to touch most of them (tortoises, bunnies and iguanas iguanas- oh my!). The metro bus ride also went smoothly. When we got back, we read Dog’s Colorful Day by Emma Dodd and created our own colorful day take home readers. The students also created reated a giant snake out of paint and used stamps to add texture. We wrote about our highlight of the trip and thanked Denny’s Pet World for the tour. I delivered it this week, so the next time you visit, look for it hanging on the walls in the back!
