Procedure 1. Tell students that they are going to take a fun quiz about music and music history. Put students in pairs and distribute worksheets. In each pair, one student receives the Student A worksheet and the other the Student B worksheet. Tell students that they should not look at their partner’s worksheet. 2. Model the activity. Play the role of Student A. For question 1, say to Student B: I think The White Album was released by the Beatles in 1969. Is that right? (No.) Oh, then maybe it was released in 1968. Is that right? (Yes.) Have Students A circle choice b, 1968, on their sheets. 3. Have students continue the activity, taking turns guessing and confirming the answers to the quiz questions. 4. As students are working, walk around to monitor the activity and help as needed. Make sure students are actually asking questions and not just copying the information from the sheets. Make note of any errors or problems to review later.
