I have uploaded an OSSS-Manual template in the File section of the OSSS group, and ... I have uploaded odt and doc versions (OpenOffice and Microsoft Word), but I have checked the ... Manuals in the OSSS-Manuals folder in PDF format.
Use the new template to write your own OSSS-Manuals! I have uploaded an OSSS-Manual template in the File section of the OSSS group, and anyone is invited to upload her or his own Manuals based on this template. I think this can be a good way for all of us to keep this group alive and to profit from the knowledge of the other group members. Manual 1 on OpenFOAM, for example, opens up the way for anyone of us to use the fantastic capabilities of OpenFOAM, which is unsurpassed among other open-source PDE-solvers today, but which can be quite difficult to use if you don't know that (and how) you can use Salome for preprocessing and ParaView for postprocessing, how to combine all these programs, how to use it outside Linux e.g. in Windows and so on. I have uploaded odt and doc versions (OpenOffice and Microsoft Word), but I have checked the odt version only. Of course, we should better use OpenOffice ;-) Please try to mimic the format of Manuals 1 & 2 as closely as possible, and please upload your Manuals in the OSSS-Manuals folder in PDF format. Thank you for your contributions!
