Men awaken to Maitreya by the Master —, through Benjamin Creme, 11 April 2010
From now, men will take more seriously the idea that help is at hand, that they are not alone, not without aid in their grief and helplessness. Recent events have brought again to humanity the hope that, at the point of their greatest need, when they had all but relinquished hope of succour, somehow their prayers would be answered and their pain assuaged. So potent has been the response to the essence of Maitreya’s words, however quietly or obliquely uttered, that many already feel heartened and reassured that all will be well, that the future for men will be just and kind, even better than they dared to hope. Many are already beginning to doubt that this man is really ‘one of us’, but is someone sent from above to answer their call for help, and to ease their burden. Many, doubtless, find His words unhelpful and obstructive to their desires, but many more, by far, sense the simple truth of His ideas, and await eagerly their fruition. Thus, quietly and steadily does Maitreya aid the plight of men. Some have already recognized Him and pray to Him. Others are glad to hear aloud the answers to their many problems and await the opportunity to play a part in their solution. Echo
Thus do the simple words of Maitreya echo through the world. Thus do they awaken in men the hope of renewal. Where enough men are so awakened and ready for change Maitreya will increase the tempo and energy of His delivery and galvanize millions to call for action on their own behalf. Men must understand that action must come from themselves, else nothing new can happen. Where men realize this they will act, spontaneously and with hearts ablaze with hope. So will it be, and so will men fulfil their destiny and create the better framework for the new age which opens before them. Beginning

My aim is to make known My Presence in the world at the earliest possible moment, and so begin My Work in the full light of day. This will mean strenuous work by those who now accept that I am among you. Make known to all that I am here, and pave smooth My path. My plan is to release into the world a certain Teaching, which will show men that there exists a new approach to living, a new way forward into the future time. May you be among the first to recognise Me, and through you I may work. Take upon yourselves this task. There is none higher which you could do in this life. Commit yourself to this work and serve your brothers. I am desirous that the world should know of My Presence, should quickly accept Me, and, hopefully, follow My lead. Who is Maitreya? Maitreya (pronounced my-tray-uh) is the personal name of the Head of the Spiritual Hierarchy. He is expected by the world's major religions as the Messiah, Krishna, the Imam Mahdi, Maitreya Buddha, and the Christ. Although the names are different, they all refer to the same individual: Maitreya, the World Teacher. An Avatar for the new age, He returns as the Teacher and guide for all humanity, religious and non-religious alike. He comes with His group, the Masters of Wisdom. Together, they will inspire humanity to create a brilliant new civilisation based on justice and sharing. He will launch a call to action to save the millions of people who starve to death every year in a world of plenty. Among Maitreya's recommendations will be a shift in social priorities so that adequate food, housing, clothing, education, and medical care become universal rights. Maitreya steps forward The way prepared by His Herald the ‘star’, Maitreya, the World Teacher, has given His first interview on American television. Millions have heard Him speak both on TV and the internet. His open mission has begun. He was introduced not as Maitreya, the World Teacher and Head of our Spiritual Hierarchy, but simply as a man, one of us. In this way He “ensures that men follow and support Him for the truth and sanity of His ideas rather than for His status”. He spoke earnestly of the need for peace, achievable only through the creation of justice and the sharing of the world’s resources. This is the first of many such interviews which will be given in the USA, Japan, Europe and elsewhere, bringing His message of hope to the world. Benjamin Creme made this announcement at his public lecture at Friends House, Euston Road, London, on 14 January 2010. UPDATE Maitreya has now given eleven interviews. So far, they have all been in the US, on the same television channel, usually accompanied by an internet broadcast. The interviews have occured at about the same time of day, and last on average for half an hour.

Transmission Meditation Transmission Meditation is a group service activity which 'steps down' the great spiritual energies that continually stream into our planet. The Great Invocation From the point of Light within the Mind of God Let light stream forth into the minds of men. Let Light descend on Earth. From the point of Love within the Heart of God Let love stream forth into the hearts of men. May Christ return to Earth. From the centre where the Will of God is known Let purpose guide the little wills of men The purpose which the Masters know and serve. From the centre which we call the race of men Let the Plan of Love and Light work out And may it seal the door where evil dwells. Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth. The Great Invocation is an ancient prayer, translated by Hierarchy into modern words. It was used by the Christ for the first time in 1945, at the same time as he announced his decision to emerge into physical contact with humanity. It was released by Him to humanity to enable man himself to invoke the energies which would change our world, and make possible the return of the Christ and Hierarchy. It has been translated into many languages and is used today in almost every country in the world. The Great Invocation is used at the beginning of Transmission Meditation to invoke or call forth energy, which is then transmitted. It should be said aloud, with the attention focussed on the ajna centre between the eyebrows.

Easter Festival (Aries) Friday, April 02 - Saturday, April 03, 2010 The first festival of spring marks a process of rebirth and revitalization. It is celebrated at the full moon in Aries, after the vernal equinox, and usually occurs in April. In the Christian tradition, it is called Easter, the festival of resurrection. It celebrates the risen Christ, but resurrection implies more than the one-time arising from the grave of the physical body. In each minute of each hour, we have the possibility to be born anew, to let go of the past and move on. When old patterns of thought and emotion are discarded, when old habits and beliefs are outgrown and set aside, we are free to meet every new situation unconditionally. Higher energies rush in to fill the place of expectancy that we have created, and the inner light expands. We open to life more abundant and are made new. The Wesak Festival (Taurus) Friday, April 30 - Saturday, May 01, 2010 The festival of Wesak occurs at the time of the full moon in Taurus, usually in May. In the East, it commemorates the enlightenment of the Buddha and is widely celebrated. Wesak marks the high-point in the spiritual year, for it is said that at this time each year, the Buddha returns to the physical plane for a brief moment, bringing an inflow of life and spiritual stimulation to vitalize all of humanity. Thousands of pilgrims gather every year in a remote valley in the Himalayas to re-enact an ancient sacred ceremony based on the legend of Wesak, which has to do with the sharing of the waters of life. Festival of the Christ/The Festival of Goodwill (Gemini) Friday, May 28 - Saturday, May 29, 2010 This will be the Festival of the spirit of humanity aspiring towards God, seeking conformity with the will of God and dedicated to the expression of right human relations. This will be fixed annually in relation to the Full Moon of June. It will be a day whereon the spiritual and divine nature of mankind will be recognised. On this Festival for two thousand years the Christ has represented humanity and has stood before the Hierarchy and in the sight of Shamballa as the God-Man, the Leader of His people, and "the Eldest in a great family of brothers" (Romans VIII: 29). Each year at that time He has preached the last sermon of the Buddha, before the assembled Hierarchy. This will, therefore, be a festival of deep invocation and appeal, of a basic aspiration towards fellowship, of human and spiritual unity, and will represent the effect in the human consciousness of the work of the Buddha and of the Christ. South Australia The North Adelaide Transmission Meditation group has moved to Fullarton Park. See page four for details. Fourteen people attended the first meeting at the new venue, which is a fantastic turn out. The Full Moon Meditation was well attended, and the energies stronger than usual, everyone is waiting with baited breath for more news on Maitreya's emergence, and no doubt His interviews are doing their work. Transmission Meditation is a potent field of service. I was wondering how we can better get that message out to others. "Love all, Serve all" is Sai Baba's message. Other than Sai Baba's own meditation, Transmission Meditation is the only Meditation which is allowed in His ashram. This endorsement from an Avatar such as Sai Baba means a great deal and can be used in the promotion of Transmission Meditation. Transmission Meditation also aligns quite well with Raja Yoga and Kriya Yoga, so these groups can be invited to experience Transmission Meditation. In the near future, more people will be attracted to this great service. Sometimes we have to make a little effort to make this information more accessible to others. After the day of Declaration this work will be a lot easier, so don't get to discouraged by the lack of committed meditators.
