Media Information Game Press Services The Office of Athletic Media Relations will be available throughout the event. All members of your media will be provided with programs, game notes, media guides, and other pertinent information. Abbreviated statistics are available at the conclusion of each set and full game statistics are available post-game. Wireless internet, telephones, and a fax machine are available throughout the game.


Visiting Team Radio Liberty University will provide normal phone lines in the press box or press row for use by visiting broadcasters. Originating stations that require ISDN lines must contact the Office of Athletic Media Relations in advance to order the line. All expenses for ISDN lines will be incurred by the originating station. Please clear up any questions on equipment prior to game day. All calls must be made collect or direct dial from the station to the booth. The game day emergency line in case of technical difficulties is (434) 582-4628.

Ticket Information Visiting volleyball teams are eligible for up to 75 complimentary admissions tickets at Liberty University Volleyball games. A maximum of four may be used per player, however, a player may use more if there are remaining unused tickets transferred from teammates. A pass list will be provided in the locker room. The list must be returned to the ticket office, located on the Vines Center concourse, no later than 90 minutes prior to the start of the match. Seating is general admission and is available on a first come, first serve basis. Everyone over the age of two must have a ticket. Player guests who are not on the pass list will have to purchase tickets. No changes may be made to the list once it has been submitted to the ticket office. Any questions regarding the use of complimentary tickets should be directed to Joseph Rixon or Anna Whitehurst at (434) 582-7328.

Stadium Information Locker rooms Locker rooms are located on the backside of the Vines Center just through the doors marked “Team Entrance”. A member of the game operations staff will be available to show you to the locker rooms upon arrival.

Practices Please contact a member of the coaching staff to set up a practice time.


Parking Bus parking will be located in the parking lot located in between Demoss Hall and the Vines Center. A member of the game operations staff will be available to help you park and will escort your team into the Vines Center.

Directions FROM 460 EAST (from Roanoke, Va.)

Take 460 East to Lynchburg. 29 North will merge with 460 East. One mile later, take the Liberty University/Candler’s Mountain Road/Route 670 exit, which will be on your right. Go straight through the stop sign and make your first right, crossing the bridge onto the main Liberty University campus. Turn left onto University Blvd. Continue on University Blvd until you get to the first stop sign. Make a right into the parking lot. A member of the game operations staff will be available to show you where to park.

FROM 29 SOUTH (from Danville, Va.)

Take 29 North to Lynchburg. After passing the Lynchburg Regional Airport on left, merge right onto 29 North/460 East. Go one mile to the Liberty University/Candler’s Mountain Road/Route 670 exit, which will be on your right. Go straight through the stop sign and make your first right, crossing the bridge onto the main Liberty University campus. Turn left onto University Blvd. Continue on University Blvd until you get to the first stop sign. Make a right into the parking lot. A member of the game operations staff will be available to show you where to park.

FROM 29 NORTH (from Charlottesville, Va.)

Take 29 South to Lynchburg. Merge onto 29 South/460 West just outside of Lynchburg. Take the second Candler's Mountain Road exit, entitled Candler’s Mountain Road/University Blvd. Turn left at light onto University Blvd. and continue on University Blvd until you get to the first stop sign. Make a right into the parking lot. A member of the game operations staff will be available to show you where to park

There will be an automatic TV timeout at point 15 of each set unless a timeout has been taken prior to point 15.

Vines Center Emergency Plan

VINES CENTER Emergency Personnel: Games: Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) and athletic training students on home sideline (and visitor’s sideline for student host coverage as needed). For Men’s and Women’s Basketball Games, Team Physician is present in stands and paramedic crew is present with ambulance parked outside the tunnel. Prior to start of these contests, ATCs will meet EMTs and visiting ATCs to review emergency procedures. Practice: Certified Athletic Trainers and athletic training students on site for practices; additional sports medicine staff accessible from the Vines Center Athletic Training Room.

Emergency Communication: ATCs carry cellular telephones. A fixed telephone line is located in the Vines Center Athletic Training Room, (434) 582-7457.

Emergency Equipment: Games: Vacuum splints, crutches, AED located on home sideline; blood borne pathogen supplies located behind each bench; additional equipment with paramedic crew located at start of the tunnel. Practice: AED and blood borne pathogen supplies are available on water cart. Additional supplies are located in the Vines Center Athletic Training Room.
