Week 4 Reading Assignment (September 16-September 20) Read: Sections 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4 of the text. Exam 1: Just a reminder that Exam 1 will be on Wednesday, September 25. It will cover material through section 7.3 of the text. You will be allowed one side of a 8.5 by 11 inch sheet of notes. In addition, a copy of the formula card in the back of the book will be provided on the exam. Review problems (some from old exams) will be posted by sometime on Friday. Suggested problems from the text:These are optional and not to be turned in. You certainly don't have to do them, but you should be able to do them after you have gone through the material. A webwork assignment on this material will be posted later this week. 7.2: 37,39,41,43,45,47,51,65,67,68. 7.3: 3,5,7,11,13,19,23,25,27,31. 7.4: 1,3,9,11,13 (more to be assigned next week).
