NEWS/DIARY DATES Request to Parish. We asked the Parish to think about: What parishioners, want from St Joan’s – by the Priest or by lay members of the Parish? • Do you know what is on offer, beyond just weekend Masses? • Are we missing out on things that could make a difference to your involvement in the life of the Parish? • How do we let people in the wider Farnham community know what we do in our Parish? • How can we reach out to local Catholics who do not attend regularly? Short or long, your input will help us shape our Parish and Diocese and is really appreciated. This survey is set up so we can hear from all of you. Many thanks in advance. Email address for this survey: [email protected] MANY THANKS to Anne Connelly & Paul Pike, the entire Christmas Bazaar team and all the helpers that contributed so much to such a wonderful Christmas Bazaar. Many thanks for all the gifts, bottles and cakes that were donated and everyone that came to support it. The sum raised was over £3,200. Well done and thank you.

HOMILY SUMMARY – 26th November Christ is the King of the Universe. What is the Universe? It is all of space and all of time and everything space and time contain such as the trillions of galaxies and the stars and the planets, including our planet earth. In the 19th century scientists said that the 5 elements of the universe are Time, force, energy, space and matter. This is exactly what Genesis CH.1v1 tells us. In the beginning (TIME) God (FORCE) created (ENERGY) the heavens (space) and the earth (MATTER’ (Gn.1.1) The Lord of this infinite Universe loves each one of us and waits to be the King of our Hearts. Jesus says in Revelation Ch 3v20 – “Listen, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone opens the door I will come into them” (Rv. 3v20) Christ, King of the Universe. Come to me, be the King of my heart. Amen.
