P A R T - I V Miscellaneous notices Government of West Bengal Writers’ Buildings, Kolkata-1 Memo No. 942 Estt. Date : 25.09.2012 Estt.-70/2009 (Pt.-III) Shri Kuntal Samanta, Lower Division Assistant, West Bengal Police Directorate and his beneficent members of family were enrolled under West Bengal Health Scheme, 2008 in terms of Govt. of West Bengal Notification No. 7287/F dtd. 19.09.2008 with effect from 1st January, 2011. This refers to this Office Order No. 365 dated 31.12.2010. Thereafter, Shri Kuntal Samanta tendered a prayer dtd. 14.09.12 furnishing information that he wants to opt out of said Health Scheme with effect from 1st October, 2012. He has surrendered the certificates & Health Cards issued to him & his family beneficiaries. His prayer dtd. 14.09.12 is accepted. It is therefore, ordered that Shri Kuntal Samanta is now entitled to receive usual medical allowances alongwith his pay to be drawn and disbursed towards him with effect from October 1,2012. Date : 25.09.2012 Estt.-71/12 Shri Soumendra Nath Naskar, Lower Division Assistant, West Bengal Police Directorate and his beneficent members of family were enrolled under West Bengal Health Scheme, 2008 in terms of Govt. of West Bengal Notification No. 7287/F dtd. 19.09.2008 with effect from 1st March, 2012. This refers to this Office Order No. 65 dated 05.03.2012. Thereafter, Shri Soumendra Nath Naskar tendered a prayer dtd. 19.09.12 furnishing information that he wants to opt out of said Health Scheme with effect from 1st October, 2012. He has surrendered Health Cards issued to him & his family beneficiaries. His prayer dtd. 19.09.12 is accepted. It is therefore, ordered that Shri Soumendra Nath Naskar is now entitled to receive usual medical allowances alongwith his pay to be drawn and disbursed towards him with effect from October 1,2012. Government of West Bengal Department of Civil Defence Writers’ Buildings, Kolkata-1 No. 1829-CD/N/NVF-6E-6/2006 Dated 17.08.2012 From : The Joint Secretary to the Government of West Bengal. To : The State Commandant, West Bengal National Volunteer Force, Kalyani, Nadia. Sub: Ad-hoc Bonus to the WBNVF personnel for the year 2011-2012. With reference to the finance (Audit) Department Memo No. 6732-F (P) dated 3rd August, 2012 the undersigned is directed by the order of the Governor to say that the Governor has been pleased to decide that :-

West Bengal Police Gazette, 28 t h september, 2012 a) The Volunteers of W.B.N.V.F. who are called up for active duty under section 10 of the WBNVF Act, 1949 and as have been deployed for active duty for a period not less than 120 (one hundred twenty) days in the year, 2011-2012 (i.e. from 01.04.2011 to 31.03.2012) will be entitled to Ad-hoc Bonus under this order according to the following formats :Total amount of wages earned in 2011-2012 12 Provided :i) The maximum amount of ad-hoc bonus in each cases will be restricted to the amount of Rs. 2,500/- only. ii) the Volunteers who qualify under (a) above do not disqualify under an individual borrowing authority for reason of short service. iii) the liability of ad-hoc bonus for a volunteer who qualifies under (a) above and who has served under more than one borrowing authorities during 2011-2012 shall be shared by the borrowing authorities proportionately. iv) the borrowing authorities shall draw and disburse their share of the above liability on the basis of the letter of authority issued by the Dist. Magistrates and Chief Dist. Commandant, WBNVF, Dist. Battalion. 2) The term ‘Wages’ in this order will have the same meaning as emoluments as defined in para 2 (i) of Finance Deptt. Memo No. 6732-F(P) dated 3rd August, 2012. 3) The Superintendent of Police of the districts for volunteers working under them, and in respect of other volunteers, the borrowing authorities other than the Superintendent of Railway Police under whom the volunteers actually performed their duties on deployment shall be the drawing and disbursing officers in respect of such ad-hoc bonus. 4) The drawal and disbursement of Ad-hoc bonus to the volunteers shall be guided in terms of the Finance (Audit) Department Memo No. 6732-F(P) dated 3rd August, 2012. The disbursement of ad-hoc bonus under this order should be made as early as possible before the festival of Durga Puja/Id-Ul-Fitre. 5) The expenses on this account will be met from the fund under the relevant head of account of the respective borrowing authorities. 6) The Accountant General (A & E/Audit), W.B. and the Director of Treasures have been informed. 7) This order issues in terms of power delegated in para-5 of Memo. No. 6732-F(P) dated 3rd August, 2012 of Finance (Audit) Deptt. Sd/(B. C. Barman) Joint Secretary
