WHERE IS HELLO KITTY ? GAME GAME INSTRUCTIONS

Hello Kitty is hiding again! Can you find Hello Kitty? Follow the clues and search though the house before time runs out. The player that finds Hello Kitty wins! CONTENTS Hello Kitty Plush 22 Question Tiles 7 Go Look! Tiles

1 Game Board 1 Sand Timer (40 secs.) Game Instructions

OBJECT Uncover clues about where Hello Kitty is hiding. Then, when the timer flips over, hurry! Follow the clues and find Hello Kitty before time runs out! SET UP 1. Choose one player to hide Hello Kitty somewhere in the house – everybody else closes their eyes. The player who hides Hello Kitty is the “Hider”. The Hider must hide Hello Kitty: • Inside the house. • In a room where all players may visit. • So that some part of Hello Kitty is in plain sight when you’re standing in that room. • Hello Kitty can’t be placed inside something closed like a box or cabinet. • Someplace safe where Hello Kitty won’t get messy or wet. 2. Put the Game Board on the play surface. 3. Turn all the Tiles (Question Tiles and the Go Look! Tiles) face down and mix them up. 4. Then put them all face down on the striped area of the Game Board. 5. The youngest player goes first. ON YOUR TURN 1. Turn over one Tile (you will not know whether it is a Question Tile or a Go Look! Tile until after you turn it over). 2. If you turn over a Question Tile, ask the Hider if the answer to that question is “yes” or “no.” For example: “Where is Hello Kitty? In a room with a bed?” The Hider must answer the question “yes” or “no” as truthfully as they can. If Hider is not sure, they may go check. Then put that Question Tile, face up, on the Yes area or the No area of the game board depending on the answer. 3. If you turn over a Go Look! Tile, then the Hider immediately turns over the Sand Timer and that player gets up and goes looking through the house for Hello Kitty. HINT: before you look, check the face up Question Tiles on the Yes and No areas of the Game Board for clues about where to look. 4. When the time is up, the Hider shouts to the other player “TIME’S UP!” And then the game resumes. 5. Now it’s the next player’s turn. ENDING THE GAME The game is over when Hello Kitty is found OR after three Go Look! Tiles have been flipped over and there have been 3 searches for Hello Kitty. If Hello Kitty is not found then the Hider wins the game. If one of the players finds Hello Kitty then that player wins!
