Exchange Program for 2015 Yonsei School of Business (YSB) invites students from partner schools and other top business schools to attend our unique program which focuses on Asia and Global Management. It is recommended that exchange students from our partner schools come during Modules 3, 4, 5, 7 or 8 when elective courses are offered. [Note] Global MBA elective courses are offered during Modules 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8. Therefore, it is recommended that MBA exchange students apply for those Modules. Modules 1 and 2 are composed of required courses, thus seats may be limited. Application Procedure 1) Nomination by home institution 2) Mail the required application materials by the deadline 3) Receive Admissions by email 4) Apply for housing 5) Receive Official Certificate of Admission by post mail, and apply for and obtain a visa (required only for students who will stay more than 90 days in Korea or students from countries without a visa waiver agreement with Korea) 6) Register for courses 7) Come and enjoy the exchange program at the Yonsei School of Business Student Notification Students will be notified by email within one month after the completed application is submitted. Required Documents 1) Printed hardcopy of completed exchange program application form 2) 1 photograph (3.5cm x 4.5cm or Passport Photograph, in color) 3) Official transcript from home institution (in signed and sealed envelope) 4) 1 copy of valid Passport 5) Statement of Purpose in English (A4 / Letter Size) 6) Bank statement (proof of the student’s financial support) ‐ Minimum deposit: USD 5,000 7) Proof of medical insurance plan that covers the period of stay in Korea * Regardless of when a student is nominated for an exchange program, students are responsible for making sure that all application materials arrive by the deadline.
General Information Campus Location and Faculties
Yonsei University’s main campus is ensconced in a spacious, picturesque and natural setting located minutes away from the economic, political, and cultural centers of Seoul's metropolitan area. The Yonsei School of Business is located in the very center of Yonsei’s Campus. While the Yonsei School of Business does not arrange housing directly, students will be given contact information and tips to help find accommodation. Rooms in the on‐campus dormitory ‘SK Global House’ are available on a first‐come, first‐served basis. Due to limited space, students are strongly recommended to apply for housing immediately after receiving their admission confirmation letter. Cost will be charged on a term rate. You can find more information on our International Dormitory website: (http://ih.yonsei.ac.kr/) Off‐Campus accommodation information will be available as needed. Students who wish to live off‐campus are responsible for securing their own housing. Visa For a short stay of less than 90 days, students need a Short Term Residence Visa, C‐3. A C‐3, Tourist Visa, is good for only 90 days and cannot be extended. Students from visa‐waiver countries are not required to obtain a visa if staying under 90 days. A Student Visa (D‐2) is required only if staying over 90 days. For a student D‐2 visa, the following items are required: 1) Completed Visa Application Form (applications are available at : http://g4f.go.kr) 2) Valid passport 3) Certificate of Admission from Yonsei 4) Bank statement or a scholarship certificate (students must verify that they maintain a minimum balance or have a scholarship certificate to receive a visa) 5) 1 color photo of the applicant (3.5cm x 4.5cm) 6) Visa processing fee

Korea’s Immigration Office website: (http://immigration.go.kr/indeximmeng.html) Health Insurance Yonsei University does not offer any student health coverage. Thus, students are required to submit proof of medical insurance for their acceptance. The student will have to pay the full fee up front, and then apply to his/her home insurance company for some form of reimbursement.
